A message to lovers of today’s music: four world premieres are programmed at this year’s Festival! François Meïmoun tackles the myth of Antigone in a grand work showcasing Laurent Stocker’s voice with the Monte-Carlo Philharmonic Orchestra; Philippe Schoeller creates a new string quartet between fury and mystery (Extasis); Christophe Maudot’s cycle for harpsichord, Désordres passagers, is performed for the first time in public; and Fabrice Jünger has prepared a multiform score for the younger generation that renews our view of the world around us (Remember).
