Numerous world premieres will once again be featured at the Printemps des arts 2026, inviting audiences on a series of unprecedented journeys. The opening concert will showcase a new work by Théo Mérigeau showcasing the fascinating duet of microtonal accordions played by Fanny Vicens and Jean-Étienne Sotty. The next day, Marc Monnet will return to the Printemps des arts – after serving as its artistic director from 2003 to 2021 – with a Piano Concerto performed by Jean-Frédéric Neuburger, which is bound to be a highlight of this year’s festival. Samuel Sighicelli, Benjamin de la Fuente, and their Caravaggio collective will then offer an original programme with vocals, a few days before Claudine Simon dismantles her piano in a show created for the festival. In addition, Michel Petrossian and Vincent Carinola will contribute the grand battle of 13 March with scores dedicated to François Salès’s oboe. Finally, 22 years after a first series of “miniatures” produced in partnership with Les Ballets de Monte-Carlo, four new musical and choreographic gems will be unveiled.
