The Printemps des Arts de Monte-Carlo association (hereafter referred to as the “Festival”) attaches particular importance to the protection of personal data and respect for privacy. The Festival acts as the data controller for the processing of personal data described in this policy.

Management of audience members and ticketing via the montecarloticket.mc website, or registration for a free festival event (via the Weezevent platform, accessible from the PDA website).

3. What are the collected data?
When purchasing tickets, subscribing to the newsletter, submitting an application, taking part in events organised by the Festival, or entering into a contractual relationship with artists, speakers or service providers, the following categories of data may be collected:
identification data: surname, first name, title, postal address, postcode, town/city, country, email address, telephone numbers, job title and organisation represented; where applicable, contact details for suppliers, partners and service providers;
Transaction data: event concerned, date, price charged, number of tickets or bookings, invoices issued and information relating to refunds;
Data relating to proof of eligibility for preferential rates: documents submitted in order to benefit from preferential or reduced rates;
Data relating to job applications: contact details, professional background, qualifications, skills, covering letter, CV.
Contractual data: contracts, agreements, letters of commitment, quotations, correspondence and history of communications;
Financial data: billing information;
Event-related data: bookings, registrations, invitations, attendance at events, information relating to the organisation of events and the monitoring of participants;
Logistical data, information relating to travel, accommodation, transport and dietary requirements provided in connection with the organisation of events;
Data relating to image rights: photographs, audiovisual recordings and sound recordings made in connection with the Festival’s activities, where applicable.
4. Legal basis of data processing
The processing of personal data carried out by the Festival is based on one or more of the following legal grounds:
The performance of a contract or pre-contractual measures, in particular in connection with the sale of tickets, the management of registrations, the conclusion of contracts with artists, speakers, partners, suppliers or service providers and, more generally, the provision of the services offered by the Festival;
Compliance with the legal and regulatory obligations to which the Festival is subject, in particular in relation to accounting, tax, social security, administrative matters, or the management of disputes and individuals’ rights;
The data subject’s consent, in particular for subscribing to the newsletter or where such consent is required by applicable regulations;
The Festival’s legitimate interest in organising and ensuring the smooth running of its activities, managing its relations with its audiences, partners and contributors, guaranteeing the security of its information systems, communicating about and promoting its events, and improving the services it offers.
Where data processing is based on the Festival’s legitimate interests, the Festival ensures that a balance is struck between the interests pursued and the rights and freedoms of the persons involved.

The data is accessible only to authorised persons in the course of their duties.

Those attending the events are informed that they may appear incidentally in recordings made during the events.
The Festival ensures that these recordings do not infringe upon the privacy, dignity or reputation of the individuals concerned.

Personal data is hosted in Monaco and within the European Union.
Appropriate technical and organisational measures are in place to ensure the confidentiality, integrity and availability of the data.
9. What are your rights?

In the interests of confidentiality and the protection of individuals and their personal data, the Festival must ensure that it can identify the applicant before responding. The Festival may ask the applicant to provide proof of their identity. If the request is made by a representative, it must be accompanied by a letter of authorisation naming the representative and a copy of an identity document for both the principal and the representative. The Festival reserves the right to request further information in order to verify the applicant’s identity.
