THURSDAY MARCH 26

QUEBEC AND DANCE

Opening evening

20h30 – Salle des étoiles, Sporting d’été

Introduction “Quebec, between memory and modernity”, with Denise Bombardier, journalist and writer

Dance performance
Cas Public, renowned for its eloquent style of dance, has an unusual dancer in its team. Cai Glover is partially deaf. Hélène Blackburn chose to use this handicap, which Cai overcame to become a dancer, as the starting point for her new work. Perception, feeling, understanding… We use our senses to grasp the world around us, like a window open onto the other and onto everything. The music: Beethoven’s 9th.
