FULL PIANO CONCERTO

SINFONIA VARSOVIA ORCHESTRA
FRANÇOIS-FRÉDÉRIC GUY, direction and piano

Very few pianists have recorded the full Beethoven Piano Concerto cycle twice. François-Frédéric Guy has become one of their elite number, after years of maturing a style of which he is today the complete master. He first recorded the Concertos in 2010, with the Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio France, under the baton of Philippe Jordan. Ten years later, as both soloist and conductor, he has scaled this musical cliff face again, bringing a more intimate approach, informed by the spirit of chamber music. He and the Sinfonia Varsovia know each other well and achieve perfect osmosis.
